Retta Rizzo was born to rock and she utilizes
the gifts God has given her. A unique vocal ability, her faith,
sense of style and self thrusts her to center stage.
Retta is definitely not a typical Christian
woman. Picture an adult combination of Punky Brewster and Pippi
Longstalking. That’s her! "Clothing, piercing, tattoos. Those
things are an outward expression of our individuality. We can
express ourselves in these ways and not damage our testimonies."
Retta's passion and raw emotions pour
through her lyrics. Couple that with a power-house voice and you
have one incredible artist. The upcoming CD, "On A Personal Note,"
gives fans a taste of multiple genres as well as years of Retta's
personal life experiences. From the interesting pick-me-up stories
about her grandmother to the love she found in her husband to the
tragic loss of a son, this CD will move you. Usually she writes
alone. How ever, on this project she has combined talent with some
incredible co-writers. Music collaborations and some recordings
have been done through White Horse Recording Studio owner Dennis
Piper.
